OUR STORY

Fisher Hawaii’s humble beginnings date back to 1929, when it began as Multigraphy, List & Letter Co., an office equipment and printing firm.

In 1933, Geoffrey C. Fisher and Hy Holloway bought the company and renamed it Fisher Corp.  In 1942, the business was expanded to include stationary and related paper products.

After experiencing a couple of changes in ownership, in 1967, the name was changed to Fisher Hawaii.  Although we have experienced a number of changes in identity, Fisher Hawaii has remained focused on providing excellence in customer service and value.

In 1978, with “customer value” in mind, Fisher Hawaii pioneered the business model of developing the “warehouse direct to you” concept that is being replicated by today’s “Big Box Retailers” such as Office Depot, Office Max and Costco.

In 1986, expanding our capabilities to include contract office furnishings and services was a natural progression.

Our new Kaka’ako Store on Pohukaina opened in October with over 17,000 square feet of space with wide aisles and air conditioning for your shopping convenience. Fisher’s brand new Warehouse in Mapunapuna is now open!

Our retail store on Fort Street Mall, in downtown Honolulu, continues to offer the same great products at the same low warehouse prices for our business customers.
